Camel Coat for Cold Day in San Francisco

Hi Everyone. This look was from the day after Christmas. I spent time with my daughter in my beloved city, San Francisco. We were walking to the Fairmont Hotel to see the Ginger Bread House. Of course, we made several stops because my daughter was so curious about everything we saw along the way. It was supposed to be 20 minutes walking but turned into 2 hours! but we had such a wonderful time together.

It was so cold but sunny and this camel coat from Mango was a great piece to wear in this kind of weather. My new distressed jeans were a gift and I am so glad I got to pair them with this coat. They were from Siwy Jeans, super comfortable and a perfect choice for a long distance walking and playing with my daughter at the playground. I wore a soft pink sweater inside. It was from J. Crew but sold out. Similar style here. I wear high heel almost every day. They make me taller and boost my confident level LOL (I am 5.2”) but I do wear flats and this pair was from Toms. I don’t have to tell you how comfortable they are. This pair have thin faux fur inside and  keep my feel warm and cozy.

Blue Blouse & Faux Fur Vest

Hi Everyone. It is this time of the year to wear faux fur. It is so cozy and luxurious look. I found this blue romantic blouse from Nordstrom. Semi-sheer and chiffon layers make this blouse classy. Comes with ruffle trims and lace. It can be worn by itself with skinny jean for a casual weekend or with a skirt and blazer for work and still look professional and stylish at the same. But today, I wanted to create a different style by wearing the faux fur vest. The blue goes well with the faux fur and both pieces stand out and well balance. A good pair of high heel always make everything better. Hope you like it.

Playing in Snow at Calaveras Big Trees State Park

Hi Everyone. Hope your day is going good so far. This was from Thanksgiving week. We were invited to a friend’s house in Sonora for Thanksgiving dinner. The park was nearby and thanks goodness, it was snowing the night before. My daughter hasn’t seen snow and she was looking forward to play in snow. We chose 2 miles trial to the view point. It was absolutely beautiful hike despite my daughter stop every minute to play with snow and talking to the trees LOL. She was looking for Elza, the princess from Frozen Disney movie. She truly believes that Elza lives in the mountain somewhere J.

We spent about 4 hours at the park taking a lot of pictures and throwing snow balls. It was a wonderful weekend and I am glad my daughter got to see the snow. She is looking forward to the new adventure. Stay tuned.

Faux Fur Blazer & Skinny Jeans

Hi Everyone. Hope you are enjoying the holidays season. This is the most wonderful time of the year. But it is so cold so I decided to take my daughter to southern California, Laguna Beach. I am a coffee addict. The first thing I did after checking into the hotel was to find a nice coffee shop so I can enjoy my latte and perhaps some pastries and my daughter can have her hot chocolate milk. Found this café near the hotel that got great reviews and did not disappoint me. I love the decors and sofas and most importantly, the staff was extremely kids friendly. My daughter ran all over the place and they didn’t even care. My latte was good and my daughter enjoyed her hot chocolate milk J.

It was warm during the day but cold in the morning. I was glad I packed this faux fur blazer. The faux fur collar is removable. I can wear the blazer along and look more casual but I leave faux fur collar it on to look cozy and stylish for a cool weather and beautiful location. I bought this blazer from Guess a couple of years ago. This blazer is similar and have great quality. The skinny jeans are my uniform and Hudson makes the perfect size and length for my body type.

I am a shoe lover (but who doesn’t). Owning a pair of Valentino Rockstud was a dream come true. They were pricey but when I am thinking about how many time I will wear them, it is totally worth it.

Stripes T-Shirt & Distressed Jeans on Laguna Beach

It was cold this weekend and I wanted to escape to somewhere warm and not too far. Laguna Beach was a great choice. It was in 70s the weekend we were here. This was my first time visiting the town and absolutely love it. It reminded  me of Camel but surprisingly not too developed. 

Like every tourist places, there were many shops and restaurants. After the window shopping. My daughter was ready to go to the beach. We spent all afternoon enjoying the sun and just relax and unwind. I was super casual, t-shirt and comfortable jeans that all I need. I love this beach and highly recommended if you want to go somewhere that still maintains the old town charming and warm enough to enjoy the beautiful ocean view in fall/winter. But was still cold at night. Hope you like the photos I posted.

Anza-Borrego State Park - Skinny Jeans and Green Leather Jacket

The trial we chose was easy to moderate and were marked and safe for a child. It was about 3 miles around trip. Usually takes about an hour to hike but my daughter was jumping and clamming the rock along the way so it took us more than 3 hours to hike to the palm oasis. The walk through the giant palm tree was incredible. It was a highlight of the hike.

We found the resort nearby called La Casa Del Zorro but didn't get a chance to stay. I need to get back to work the next day. We went and took a look at the resort and absolutely beautiful. We plan to stay here for our next visit.
